ゲットだぜ！ was born from a simple frustration: the world's best Pokemon cards are in Japan, but accessing them from overseas is nearly impossible without the right connections. Founded in 2017 by a group of passionate collectors and card market professionals based in Tokyo, we set out to bridge this gap.

Today, ゲットだぜ！ operates from the heart of Tokyo, with a dedicated team that combines deep expertise in the Japanese card market with a commitment to transparent, trust-based service. We've sourced over 2,500 premium cards for collectors across the globe.

Kenji Takahashi

Founder & CEO

Kenji grew up between Tokyo and San Francisco, giving him native fluency in both Japanese and American culture. He began collecting Pokemon cards when the TCG launched in Japan in 1996 and never stopped. After earning a business degree from Keio University and spending several years in finance, Kenji founded ゲットだぜ！ in 2017 to bridge the gap between Japan's card market and international collectors. He personally oversees client relationships for Elite tier members.

Hiroshi Yamamoto

Head of Sourcing

Hiroshi has been immersed in the Japanese collectible card market for over twenty years. Before joining ゲットだぜ！, he operated one of Tokyo's most respected independent card shops in Akihabara. His encyclopedic knowledge of Japanese card releases, print runs, and market history allows him to assess fair value instantly and identify opportunities that others miss. Hiroshi leads the sourcing team and personally handles procurement for the most challenging requests.

Quality & Condition Specialist

Ryan brings a level of card condition expertise that few in the industry can match. With years of experience evaluating thousands of Pokemon, sports, and trading cards, he has developed an exceptional eye for detail. After relocating to Tokyo, Ryan joined ゲットだぜ！ to lead our condition verification process. Every card that passes through ゲットだぜ！ is examined by Ryan or a member of his trained team, and detailed photos and videos are shared with clients via WhatsApp before purchase.

Client Relations Manager

Elena ensures that every ゲットだぜ！ client receives an experience worthy of the cards we source. Fluent in English, Japanese, Italian, and French, she brings a background in luxury hospitality, having managed VIP client services at a five-star hotel in Tokyo before joining ゲットだぜ！. For our Premium and Elite members, Elena serves as the primary point of contact, providing personalized updates and ensuring seamless service from initial request to final delivery.
